MR. JOSEPH KAGUTHI EBS – CHAIRMAN
A state honoured and distinguished public leader
Joseph Kaguthi has distinguished himself as a fearless, progressive and pragmatic leader in public service and in charity. He has served with distinction at the pinnacle of the Civil Service including as permanent secretary and Director of Personnel Management when he launched the Professionals Rejuvenation Forum and the Marketing Kenya Forum.
He was the founder Chairman of the NGO C0-ordination Board and the Kenya Cancer Association. He is a past commander of the St. John Ambulance Kenya and Life Governor of the Agricultural Society of Kenya.
He is a former currently the chairman of various companies as well as of advisory council of FEB (A multi-billion shilling investment conglomerate operating in media, real estate, financial services, education and hospitality).
Mr Kaguthi is distinguished by his passion, energy and commitment in whatever he engages with.
MR. SWALEH BAJABER
Mr. Swaleh Bajarber is a prominent industrialist, real estate developer and illustrious community leader. He has been in business for over thirty years and has a wide network of local and international associates and clients. Currently based in Mombasa, he is a director in nine companies including Bajabar Ltd and Bajabar Salt Works Ltd. He provides free education to several children from poor backgrounds. He is also very active in charity work.Prof. Kinandu Muragu
Prof. Kinandu Muragu, who holds a PhD in finance from University of Glasgow, UK, is the director in charge of technical services for the Lamu golf and Leisure Resort City. He did his undergraduate and graduate training in the University of Nairobi where he obtained his B. Com (Hons) and MBA degrees. His experience includes working for the Central Back of Kenya as the Executive Director of Kenya School of Monetary Studies. Previously he worked as Projects Coordinator, managing the World Bank and African Development Bank funded Education Sector Development Programme in the Kingdom of Lesotho. He has consulted for variety of International organizations such as the World Bank, World Food Programme and UNICEF. He has been the Dean of Finance and Administration and Chief Finance Officer at the United States International University-Africa where he was also Associate Professor of Finance. He has also carried out consulting assignments in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Swaziland as a Senior Consultant for the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI), one of Africa’s top management institutes. Before joining ESAMI he had lectured at the University of Nairobi for 10 years rising to be a senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance. Prof. Muragu is also a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and had his basic accountancy training at Delloite and Touche and latter at Pricewaterhouse and Nyaga Associates. As a practicing accountant and consultant he has been closely involved in design and implementation of projects and management systems for a variety of private and public sector clients.
MR NGURU WACHIRA FCPA, FCCA, FCIS, FCPSK, FKIM
An ardent proponent of Tourism and Urbanization as the key engines for transformation of Kenyan economy.Nguru Wachira is an entrepreneur and investment consultant who has been at the forefront of expanding professionalism in Kenya. He is a past Chairman of ICPAK, (The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya) the most successful professional association in the region and is the immediate past Chairman of ICSIA (The Institute of Certified Securities and Investment analysts). He has served in the top organs of several professional associations including APSEA (The Association of Professional Societies of East Africa) and KIM (The Kenya Institute of Management).He was instrumental in institutional of corporate Governance in Kenya and currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Centre for Corporate Governance.He is the founder of WIA East Africa (Certified Public Accountants) and chairs the boards of Suntra Investments Ltd and Investeq Capital Ltd.

Currently the C.E.O. of Solargen Energy Corporation, leading the development and construction of a 200MW Hydrogen Ammonia plant in Lamu, Kenya. Founder and Chairman of Marco Borero Co Ltd, with a proven track record in establishing and managing renewable energy projects, including a 1.5MW grid-tied solar power plant in Nyeri County. Committed to leveraging expertise in renewable energy and exploring opportunities in agriculture and microfinance to drive impactful change. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a dedication to business excellence and community development.
